STATEMENT ON THE PRIVACY OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION

Privacy Policy
At Independent Alliance Banks and our affiliates, the basis of each customer relationship is trust. We know that you have an interest in how we collect, retain and use information about you and your relationship with us. We have an obligation to honor your trust, beginning with protecting the confidential information you share with us. We believe that your privacy should not be compromised. We believe the confidentiality and protection of customer information is one of our fundamental responsibilities. And while information is critical to providing quality service, we recognize that one of our most important assets is our customer’s trust. The Privacy Principles have been endorsed by the major banking groups, of which Independent Alliance Banks and our affiliates is a member. We use these Privacy Principles to guide us in dealing with customer information.

Collecting Information
As permitted by law, we collect and retain certain nonpublic personal information. “Nonpublic personal information” is nonpublic information about you that we obtain in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. We may collect “nonpublic personal information” about you from the following sources:

    • Information from your transactions with us, our affiliates or others
    • Information we receive from you on your applications or other loan and account forms
    • Information we receive from others, such as credit bureaus, employers, and financial institutions

Disclosing of Information
It is our policy not to share nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to unaffiliated third parties except as necessary to provide our products and services to our customers and as permitted by law. For example, we may disclose nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to such third parties to assist us in servicing your loan or account with us; to government entities in response to subpoenas; and to credit bureaus.

We may, however, from time to time share information that we have collected about you with our affiliated companies. As permitted by law, we disclose information about our customers’ transactions and experience with us to our affiliates. However, you have the right to “opt-out” of the sharing of other non-public personal information we have collected about you with our affiliates as described previously. To “opt-out” of this sharing of certain non-public personal information within our corporate family of affiliates, contact us in one of the following ways:

    • By mail: Att: “Opt-Out” Officer
       118 E. Ludwig Rd, Ste 103
       Fort Wayne, IN 46825
    • By telephone: The number indicated for each affiliated company listed on this notice.

If you choose to opt-out, your option will remain in effect until revoked. You only need to opt-out once. We will treat an opt-out direction by an account owner as applying to the entire account for a joint account.

Security Procedures
We take a variety of steps to safeguard customer information. We restrict access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
